| Shane
Beschen 31
San Clemente, Calif.
Whether it’s deep tubes or big air,
Shane can deliver. A fierce competitor in
the late 90s, he constantly nipped at Kelly
Slater’s heels for the world title.
Shane is an outspoken proponent for reshaping
competitive surfing and a natural fit for
the RB5X. |

| Mike
Todd 21
Laguna Beach, Calif.
Born to gypsy parents, Mike grew up traveling
the world and surfing some of the planet’s
most demanding waves. And it shows. He surfs
huge Waimea and Teahupo’o with skill
and composure way beyond his years. |

 |
| Brad
Gerlach 35
Encinitas, Calif.
This guy is a legend. In the 90s Brad made
it to number two in the world before bailing
out to be a surf vagabond and pursue big
wave riding. He still competes occasionally
and recently launched “The Game,”
an innovative team surfing competition. |
