Kassia "Sea Princess" Meador 22
Oceanside, Calif.

This goofy footer won the first contest she ever entered, and continued her winning ways on the pro tour by taking first in the Roxy Wahine Classic at San-O and the 2004 Converse California Classic—women's noseriding championship. Though Kassia doesn't really have a nickname, we're calling her the "Sea Princess" because of her smooth footwork and graceful presence on the waves.

Kim "Danger Woman" Hamrock 43
Huntington Beach, Calif.

This girl's nickname says it all. Wife and mother of three, Kim still out charges most guys we know. Though she's best known for pulling into big Puerto Escondido barrels, Danger Woman won the 2002 world longboarding championship as well as 12 U.S. championship titles.

Mary "Mare-Bear" Osborne 22
Ventura, Calif.

Already a seasoned longboard contest veteran in her early 20s, this regular foot has been surfing since she was 14. Mary won first place at the Malibu Rum Shootout in Tortola, recently made it into the quarterfinals of the PSTA men's pro longboard competition at Ventura, and won the longboard division of MTV's hit show "Surf Girls."

Daize "D" Shayne 20- something
Kailua, Oahu

Whether she's riding the nose or slashing a shortboard, Miss Daize is a force to be reckoned with in the water. She's been a pro surfer for five years and has two world longboarding championships to her name. Off the water, the glamorous D works as a fashion model, and now, a rock musician.

Schuyler "Sky" McFarren 17
Encinitas, Calif.

Though she was raised in the mountains of Bozeman, Montana, Schuyler seems like she was born to ride waves. One of the hot, young talents on tour, at just 17 she's already won the 2004 Rob Machado Longboard contest and the 2003 Converse California Classic—women's noseriding championship.
